Pay for privacy and compute.
Not for collaborating.

Public, invite-only and application builds are free forever, with unlimited calls on your own API key. You pay when you want a build kept private, a bigger crew, or compute you did not bring yourself.

What a credit is

One credit is one AI turn on our compute. Work that runs on a key you or your crew pooled costs zero credits — we still meter it and show the owner every request, but we do not charge for it. Bringing your own key is always the cheap path.

1credit · one AI turn
5credits · one agent run
10credits · one GPU job
0credits · on your own key

Top-up packs

For a month that runs long. Packs never expire.

Questions people actually ask

Do I need to pay to use AI on Teamable?

No. Bring a key from any provider — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, Groq, a local Ollama model, anything OpenAI-compatible — and your calls cost no credits at all. The free tier's 30 credits are for trying platform compute before you wire up a key.

What happens when my credits run out?

Platform compute stops; everything else keeps working. Your own pooled key keeps running, your builds stay up, your crew carries on. Add a top-up pack, wait for the month to roll, or pool a key.

Do unused credits roll over?

On paid plans, yes — up to twice your monthly allowance, so Pro can bank up to 200. Anything above that expires at the roll, and the expiry is written to your ledger as a line item rather than a silent reset. The free tier does not roll over.

What is the difference between Pro and Teams?

Pro is one person who starts builds: 3 private builds, crews up to 50. Teams is one bill for a whole crew: unlimited private builds, crews up to 250, credits pooled across every seat, and per-role access gates with application voting.

My card failed. Do you cut me off immediately?

No. A failed payment keeps your plan working while Stripe retries — about three weeks. Cutting a paying crew off mid-build over an expired card would be a hostile way to handle a solvable problem. You will get email from Stripe, and the dashboard will say so.

Can I get a refund?

Email support@teamable.dev within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it, no argument. Unused top-up packs are refundable any time.

Is my API key safe?

Read the key section — it names the trade-off rather than hiding it. Short version: vault mode is AES-GCM sealed under a key held outside the database, every use is listed for you, and revoke is one click. On-device mode means we never hold it at all, at the cost of no pooling.

Do I earn money from my contributions?

No, and that is on purpose. Sparks buy attribution, vote weight and pool priority inside a crew. They are not redeemable or transferable, and there is no payout path in the product. Teamable is a place to build things with people, not an earning scheme.
